Srinagar-Jammu highway: Traffic likely to be restored

Srinagar: The Srinagar-Jammu National highway is likely to be restored for traffic later in the day as the landslide clearance operation is underway.

The highway was closed on Sunday due to landslides, an official said.

He said landslides in Panthal area of the Ramban-Ramsoo sector has been cleared and the operation to clear another landslide at Mom Passi area is going on.

“The highway is likely to be restored later in the day,” he said.
