Ganderbal residents show concern regarding accusations of former MLA ‘misusing money’ meant of constituency development

Srinagar: Taking note of news which appeared in some section of media regarding the misuse of constituency development fund Gangerbal by former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), citizens have expressed their concern regarding this “grave issue”.

They expressed shock regarding the purchase of domestic coal heaters locally known as ‘Dam Choola’ allegedly by the former MLA.

The citizens said that after “years of absence” the former MLA is now again visible and trying to befool people since elections are due in a couple of months.

They said that the National Conference have given the charge of representing Ganderbal to “undeserving” candidates which is reason that they have lost trust in the party.

“Due to this undeserving candidate, hundreds of workers have lost their livelihood and people are questioning the use of funds which were meant for constituency development,” said a group of citizens.

They appealed the governor administration to investigate the matter so that the money meant for common people is put its real use.
