Mehbooba, Omar urge Telangana govt to help Kashmiri fire victims in Hyderabad

Srinagar: Reacting to reports that many shops of Kashmiri businessmen were gutted in an exhibition at Hyderabad on Wednesday, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah urged Telangana government to help the fire victims.
Meanwhile, quickly reacting to Mr Abdullah’s tweet, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, who is the son of Telangana Chief Minister K C Rao and working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), assured to take up the issue with the CM.
β€œKTR garu May I please request you on behalf of these people who lost all their material in the market fire in Hyderabad for any assistance at all that can be provided to them. Will be personally grateful Jenab. @KTRTRS,” Mr Abdullah wrote on twitter.
Mr Rao, who is the MLA from Sircilla, in response to this tweet, wrote, β€œSure Omar Saab. Will take up the issue with Hon’ble CM sir.”
β€œThank you. Your quick & positive response is much appreciated,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of the state, wrote.
β€œHuge losses amounting to crores suffered by Kashmiri shop owners in Hyderabad. Request @jandkgovernor & @TelanganaCMO to ensure whatever help is possible,” Ms Mehbooba wrote on her twitter handle.
About 150 stalls were gutted in a massive fire which broke out on Wednesday at Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad.
