Panic in Pulwama village after bank guard open fire

Srinagar: Panic gripped Noorpora in Pulwama in south Kashmir when a bank guard opened fire after noticing some suspicious movement on Thursday, official source said.

They said people ran for safety when a guard of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) at Noorpora fired few rounds in the air after noticing suspicious movement. Shopkeepers also left their shops and transport came to halt for some time.

However, normalcy returned after some time, they said adding security forces immediately sealed the area and conducted search operation.
