BJP leader booked for allegedly abusing govt officer in Kashmir

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday registered a case against a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader for allegedly abusing a government officer in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.
Official sources said that a Block Development Officer (BDO) filed a written compliant in Police Station Bandipora on Sunday that BJP district president Sheikh Waseem Bari allegedly abused him in his office over some issue.
β€œBari used abusive language against me in my office,” the BDO said in his compliant. Bari is contesting Urban Local Body (ULB) elections for Bandipora municipal committee from Ward number 13.
