Police Naka party attacked in central Kashmir, no one injured

Srinagar: A naka party of Jammu and Kashmir police was attacked by militants travelling in a car in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal late Sunday night, official sources said.
They said militants travelling in a car resorted to indiscriminate firing with automatic weapons from a distance towards a police naka party at Gadoora, Ganderbal late last night. Police personnel immediately retaliated but the militants managed to escape. No one was injured in the shootout, they added.
Later a massive search operation was conducted in the area but the militants had escaped, they said.
