PDP leader Waheed Parra attacked by gunmen in Budgam, escapes unhurt

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former Secretary J&K State Sports Council Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra escaped unhurt when he was attacked by unidentified gunmen in central Kashmir district of Budgam, UNI news agency said.

Official sources said bullet-proof vehicle of Parra was attacked by bike-borne gunmen at around 1930 hrsΒ on MondayΒ near Chadoora in Budgam. β€œThe bullet reportedly hit the vehicle, but Parra escaped unhurt,” they said.

They said the PDP leader was returning from a condolence meeting when the attack took place. (UNI)
