King Salman orders hosting 1,000 of Palestinian martyrs’ relatives to perform Hajj

Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered the hosting of 1,000 female and male pilgrims of Palestinian martyrs’ relatives to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year.
This humanitarian initiative is part of the annual Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program, under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Asheikh said in a statement that this year’s guests are coming from the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe. He noted that as many as 43,547 female and male pilgrims have benefited from this program since its inception 22 years ago.
Al-Sheikh stressed that this order comes in the context of the continued support and the great interest paid by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Palestinian cause, and in appreciation of the great sacrifices made by the Palestinian people in the occupied territories. He pointed out that the Palestinians deserve all support in their struggle to recover their legitimate rights and to safeguard the first Qibla for Muslims, Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem).
