Funeral prayers in absentia held for slain JeM militants in Verinag village





Funeral prayers in absentia were held for slain Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants in Khahgund village of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

Two Jaish-e-Muhammad militants, believed to be foreigners, were killed in a gunfight that erupted in Shastargam village late last night.

Meanwhile, Internet continues to remain suspended since last night in both Kulgam and Anantnag districts.
A complete shutdown is being observed in A
nantnag district against the killings.
