SRINAGAR: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) today hailed all the students particularly those from Private Schools for the brilliant performance exhibited in the Class 10th examinations.
The Association said that it is heartening to know that such performance has come from the students in spite of the unfavourable situations. “As always this year was also challenging but with the dedication of our teachers and hardworking students, the performance has been record breaking,” said G N Var chairman PSAJK while extending congratulations all the students who appeared in the vital examination. “Be it South or North Kashmir, everywhere students put in their best efforts for this examination.”
The Association paid tributes to student Numan Ashraf Bhat from Balsoo, Kulgam, who was killed on November 25 and many others who suffered during various incidents. “Despite the hardships, Kashmiris have not left education midway. They have resolved that no matter what happens, education will remain their priority,” said Var. “It is their dedication that we salute. In the long run it is the education which will help us everywhere.”
The Association also paid tributes to teachers, without whose cooperation the performance was not possible. “Our students and staff members fought the adverse conditions in this journey. Almost all top positions are bagged by private schools, which attests resolve of our staff and management to continue to provide quality education” Var said.
The Association called on the students who didn’t qualify the examination not to lose heart and work harder for next time.
“For everyone, be it topper or those who could not qualify, it should be a learning experience,” said Var.
The Association has decided to hold a grand function wherein the toppers of the Class 10 examination will be felicitated. “We want to further encourage the students to achieve more in life and be change makers for the society,” said Var.
