Srinagar: Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the attack in Srinagar outskirts in which an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was martyred early Saturday morning.
A spokesman of the outfit told local media that militants of the group attacked security forces at Wagoora, Nowgam, in the city outskirts.
He threatened more such attacks in the valley.
ASI Rajendra Prasad was injured in a militant attack on security forces guarding power grid station at Wagoora. He died on way to hospital.
